Cooks at Home Personal Chef

The concept of Cooks At Home was first created in January 2005 by Kelly Bajic a psychology graduate and mother of one. Kelly achieved her psychology degree whilst gaining over 10 years experience in the childcare industry and later in project management. Kelly has been cooking for almost 20 years, using fantastic original recipes taught to her by Italian, German, French and English relatives! Kelly spent a whole year researching and developing the concept of the personal chef business before formally establishing Cooks At Home in January 2006. She felt passionately that the quality of the service and recipes of Cooks At Home would stand out from the existing and growing number of other businesses also tapping in on the market. The results speak for themselves as shown in the response from customers and high repeat booking rate.

The Personal Chef industry has enjoyed phenomenal success over in the US and has already enjoyed increased success over here in the UK. New-business analysts have earmarked the personal chef industry as one of the top 5 new growth businesses. Overheads are low — there’s none of the risk of setting up a restaurant and it follows the trend in core societal values that are most important to the public: family dining, healthy and balanced eating.

After a great deal of background work and refining the concept Kelly is now able to offer the opportunity for others to share in her success. Cooks At Home is now ready to develop a network of franchises throughout the UK.
