A sugar-free alternative to traditional pumpkin pie. Aspartame sweetener is not heat stable so be sure to add the sweetener after the pie filling has cooled to 145 degrees F (62 degrees C).
Chicken breast simmered with onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, soy sauce, and spices to be served with a rich pepper steak style gravy. If you like the taste of pepper steak but really don't enjoy red meat, try it with chicken!
Discovered this recipe while I was a consultant to one of the long time landmark New Orleans restaurants 20 years ago. It's still my all-time favorite catfish recipe and I have closely guarded the recipe till now. I hope others will enjoy it as much as I have.
