Anchovies sauteed with garlic and oil makes a pungently tasty sauce for hot spaghetti. Add some breadcrumbs and parsley to the anchovy mix and toss with the noodles to serve.

I created this simple carrot, apple and raisin salad with crunchy almonds during Hurricane Isabel in 2003. It's nutritious, doesn't require refrigeration, and is vegan.
TMT - tofu, miso and tahini. How can you lose with this sandwich! Minced onion, carrot and toasted sesame seeds are in there too. Chill. Then serve on crackers as an hors d 'oeuvre, or spread on thick slices of bread and serve open faced.
